Inside Sales Representative
TMC Transportation, the industry's premier flatbed carrier, is searching for self-motivated Inside Sales Representatives to join the team at our brand new facility in Brownsburg, IN! Located just 10 minutes outside of Indianapolis, this state-of-the-art building sits on just over 34 acres and even houses an on-site fitness center!
Sales Reps Receive:
- Base Salary
Uncapped Commission = $45-55K Average Year 1; $60-70K Average Year 2; $75K

Responsibilities:
- Initiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clients
- Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold-calling
- Manage accounts to retain existing relationships
- Act as single point of contact for your customers for their needs from identifying business, negotiating rates, entering orders and following through on service
- Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
- Work in conjunction with our current sales team, carrier management team, and Customer Service reps in growing Logistics
Requirements:
- 1
year of successful sales experience, previous transportation/logistics sales experience is a plus - Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a people person)
- Proficiency with MS Office software; experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management or web based software programs
- Ability to execute a vision, manage multiple priorities, and achieve results
